Eagle's Passage [Closed]

Spratz glances at the dragon and shifts his gaze from the both of them. He felt that he had intruded since the donkey had started to walk away, but he started speaking anyways.

"My name is Spratz--leader of the Divine Syndicates."

He started to stand a bit taller as he spoke the last half of the sentence, but hesitated and loosened up once more.

"As for the mountains, I saw some a while back. If you would like me to, I can lead you to the outskirts of the Syndicate territory. You seem starved......in fact, I could help you find food on your way there."

Judging by the face paint, he knew she was a Syndicate. Helping one wouldn't do much harm, but he was going to stay safe and remain out of the Syndicates' sight. He would have felt horrible if he just left her there.

Enola made a sound of relief. She was so grateful.

“Thank you, Spratz. But, if you would just show me the direction, and I shall head there in the morning. I must rest first… I haven’t had much sleep in the past two days.” she paused, briefly looking back towards her body. “I also must bathe.” The donkey laughed softly, for she didn’t realize so she was messy.

“My face paint must be ruined.” she murmured to herself.

Spratz nods lightly with a smile. They seemed like they could make good friends for the moment.

"Alright. I suggest follow Oracle's directions. Then once you get there, head east through the woods and make your way up the hill. The mountains are on the horizon. Trust me. You can't miss them."

He sensed another being nearby. Not an active one, but alive. He was sure the native would join in if he or she felt so. Forcing them wasn't the right thing to do.

Enola thanked Spratz once more. She was beginning to wonder why they were hated so much; the leader is even so kind. Enola didn’t personally have anything against the Divine Syndicates… she kind of just went along with what she was told about them.

“If you’ll excuse me, I need to clean up and get some rest.” The donkey politely and made her way back towards the lake.

Once she made it back to the shore, she once more untied the rope from her body and let the baskets slide to the ground. Enola entered the chilly water and began to rinse the mud and dirt from her white fur. As she went to dip her head into the water, she noticed a fox.

I’m meeting all sorts of people here, she thought. I should come to All Creature Territories on accident more often. She laughed to herself, quickly washed her face, mane, and body and then decided to head towards the animal.

She was still soaking wet when she approached the fox. She didn’t feel like dirtying up her just-cleaned fur again by rolling around on the ground. Having white fur and keeping it nice is tough!

“Hello!” Enola greeted enthusiastically. She lowered her head down to the animal’s level and smiled. Water dripped from the tuff of hair on top her head and down into her eye, causing her to blink rapidly in a weird way.

((Also, you can’t tell what group she’s in since she’s not currently wearing any face paint. OOO:)

The slightly ecstatic donkey made him chuckle. Despite her being a bit shy, she had quite a bit of energy in her.

Turning towards the lake once more, he pulls a spear from the sling on his back and sticks the sharp end into the water first. His talons were now just barely gripping the other end of it as he tested the deepness of the water. So far, it was a little over 3 feet and his spears were a little over that length.

"Well.....I've never noticed how deep this was until I actually tried to check. The water is always so clear that you can usually see the bottom."

About now, the water had started to become foggy from Enola washing herself. It would most likely clear up after a few minutes.

Pulling the spear back up from the water, he shakes it off and sticks it back into the sling.

Spratz had finally decided to look over at the newcomer. She was a Divine Syndicate. Second in command to be exact. Spratz hadn't talked to her at all, but from what he heard, that was her current rank.
