Secrets: Nasia was born a few years before the fighting breaks out between the Syndicates and the Divines. She lived with her parents what is now the Syndicate territory. Her parents are really protective but loving and she doesn't know what she'd do without them (since they pretty much did everything for her). Her mother was a strong warrior, and her father a witchdoctor. She was an apprentice for her father when the chaos began between the Syndicates and the Divines. Her and her parents decided to flee, for they did not want to fight or get involved. They had no idea where they wanted to go, so they just aimlessly wandered. They came across a large forest (Ndort Gates) and thought it would be safe in there. They unknowingly entered demon territory. Throughout their first day of entering, they came across strange things. The berries they would find would instantly rot when picked and a rabbit they killed was filled with rotting tissue and maggots. The family decided that they had to leave. As they tried to escape the dark forest, they found themselves lost. While they tried to find their way out, they only managed to venture deeper and deeper into it. After a period of time, one after another collapsed from dehydration and starvation. They all lay on the ground, slowly watching each other die. Nasia felt at peace knowing that she can at least be with her parents in her last moments. Her eyes slowly shut as her parents’ did as well, and all she could remember was never ending darkness.
Suddenly, as if awaking from a nightmare, she jerked her head up. Her stomach burned and her head was pounding. Nasia looked around through her heavy eyelids and quickly noticed the motionless bodies of her parents. Thinking they were sleeping, she drags herself over to them and nudged her father. He doesn’t respond; her heart started pounding along with her head.
“Papa?” She says in a low whisper as she continued to nudge his enormous body. He still did not respond. “Mother..?” She says aloud with panic in her voice as she went to go shake her large body. No response as well.
She became frantic. Panic grew within her as she continuously tried to awake them from their endless slumber. Nasia screamed their names with frustration, and then soon began sobbing with grief and the stabbing feeling of fright. She didn’t know what to do. She didn’t understand what was going on. Hadn’t she died along with them?
For many days, she stayed with the bodies of her parents, not moving, only staring at them with tears running down her furry face. She couldn’t sleep, for her dreams were ruined by gruesome nightmares. But after a few days, she felt like her body finally had enough and she eagerly waited for death to take her again.
She opened her eye hours later to find that her parents’ bodies were gone. This time, she was too angry to cry. She was angry at herself and at whoever was cruelly toying with her. She stood up and began shouting. Endless amounts of curses and hateful words spilled effortlessly from her muzzle. When she dropped to the ground dizzy--she screamed so much that she lost her breath--, a voice from the shadows responded with a harsh, cackling laugh. It was an Orilath.
Her response was to run, and she did. She ran as fast as her weak body could manage. But the laughing followed her as if it were directly behind her. And then suddenly, she felt as if something just rammed into her body, causing her to slam into a tree and slide to the ground. She couldn’t move her body.
A Orilath had entered her body
For what seemed like days, her and the parasite battle for control of her body. Her will was unknowingly quite strong for an animal who so eagerly wanted to die. But she didn’t want to go like this. Even though the land was climaxing with chaos and death, the Orilath was still a very weak one. She forced it from her body, and onced it was fully out, she leaped upon it with the last bit of strength she had and broke the shell on its back.
After that battle, she simply began wandering around with no real effort. She once again was ready to be with her parents. She wandered for over a year, and during that time, she just barely escaped the Orilath’s grips several times. It was utterly a miracle that she, such a weak and hopeless creature, could do so. With luck finally seeming to side with her, she escaped the Hell of the Ndort Gates. She sprinted away from the towering trees with no intention of stopping for a few miles.
Something inside her told her to make one last glance, and when she did, she saw her parents. They both stood on their hind legs, peering at her. Her father waved to her. Nasia quickly stopped and began back towards the forest when she noticed their eyes. They were completely black. The torn grizzly skidded to a halt, and gazed at them as her heart throbbed with saddness. Why were Orilath so cruel? Nasia looked at her parents one more time and turned back around. As she ran far away from her dead parents, tears slid down her eyes.
She once again began wandering. She would "pass out" every now and then, and then continue her journey. She came across a large building, which was something she had never seen before in her life. She had no time to appreciate it as she "passed out" for the last time about a mile away from the castle. The bear woke up to the sweet and wonderful smell of meat. She crawled out of the makeshift bed she was in and quickly gobbled up all the food that was left for her. She was so happy to have food in her stomach that she began to tear up.
From then on, she lived in the Abbey for many years. In that time, she perfected her witchdoctor skills (It’s not like she had much better to do.) Also during that time, she began to open up for the first time since that Nightmare.
Goals: To make people happy with her stories, jokes, and her talents/abilities.
Personality: Nasia is a very large bear with a big heart. She loves making people happy and she loves entertaining families with her stories she makes up. She enjoys traveling to village to village between the different territories and helping out when she can. Nasia likes picking on serious or shy people (but not in a mean way). She’s very lovable , despite her eerie appearance. (She will usually remove her paint if it scares children.) Sometimes, she wobbles around on her two hind feet, using her staff for a little support. (and she does this usually when she’s in the Divine Syndicate territory.)
All family: UNKNOWN DUE TO HER FEARS
History: Nasia lived in the Faywheat Abbey when it was new. At that time, she was just beginning to perfect her witchdoctor skills. She was kicked out several year later for rudely joking about the Four Horses (and being rude to others as well. Her jokes were taken seriously there. D’ When she left, she wandered around aimlessly for months. She’s been to many places and has seen many things. She also collected human and rare artifacts. When she had accumulated too many things to carry, she decided to make herself a home. In a small cave, hidden near Morfield, she decorated her home with beautiful things and painted the walls. Although it’s her home, she is there very little but it is one of her most beloved places.
((The first picture is all her junk and stuffs. The second one is how she looks without it all. xD Like a normal bear, RIIIIGHT? Who would've thought? ))
