March of Claws
MoC is an easy, no wait for acceptance, free-form make your own pack and plot, optional word count (default no word count), otter roleplay, with some South American animals also available for play, like bush dog, crocodile, and jaguar. We are about PG-13, though you can up it a bit by marking a thread [mature], giving you a little more freedom if you'd like to have a character who, say, swears a lot or if you feel the thread is going to be very bloody.
With our unique NPC (non-player character) system, you can breed and control entire armies by having litters to add to your pack's size, and also play war RPs much more easily with total control over whether your character dies or not while still having a death count. By having 'fodder' characters, a greater variety of plots can be explored much more easily. We are new, with many territories free to claim; admittedly, this does mean not many members, especially because people don't tend to join non-canine, horse or feline animal sites, but just give us a chance; with our unique system, we don't need a huge number of people to accomplish the same kinds of epic plots.
In addition to this unique feature, we allow you to role-play in the past to flesh out your character's history if wished. That's something very few animal sites offer.
An otter? But I've never played those before!
Otters aren't really that odd or hard. Played wolves? Meerkats? Cats? They are kind of like a mix, but with a preference for fish and the occasional mouse; your otters are also allowed to hunt land prey if you wish, and our otters are about small wolf-sized.
Like wolves, otter packs have alphas and dens, scent-mark to claim territory, communally take care of pups, and also like wolves they have been known to mob together to chase off larger enemies like puma or crocodile. Like cats, they have claws and can scratch. Unique to few mammals, they may even have grandmothers! Otters can be fierce predators, and will hunt anaconda, the biggest snake in the world; but they are also loving and incredibly playful. They also bark, purr and mew just like dogs and cats combined! And if you really must play a canine or feline, we do have jaguar and bush dog available to play.
Plus, with no wait for character acceptance, it really can't hurt to try it out! We are the only otter rp site out there, give us a glance.
I'm also potentially looking for staff. ~ Pfft
